	[the author] Christian Hundertmark (C100), 30 years old, is part of the Munich design studio “Backyard 10”, which attends to costumers from the sport (NORTH kite boarding, Oakley, Forum snowboard) and music industry (Universal, Buback, Gronland Records, Compost Records). Besides that he was art director of the „soul“ BMX video magazine for five years. Since his 14th birthday he is into graffiti and since five years going for street art. That is also how he got in contact with PUBLIKAT from Aschaffenburg in 1995. This friendship is kept up since then and THE ART OF REBELLION is the first project gaining from this exchange.
	[the publisher] Publikat Verlags- und Handels KG was started by Joern Stiller and Markus Christl ten years ago. They started off with graffiti commercials under the name of „GRAFFITI AGENCY“. As time went by the area of tasks changed and the name turned into Publikat KG in 2000. Since 1999, the internationally known high gloss magazineSTYLEFILE, which gaines a good reputation in the scene, is published on a regular basis. Furthermore since the year 2000 nine books about graffiti (Surf the City, End2Ends – On the Wheels of Steel, Hamburg City Graffiti etc.) were published by active work or in co-operation with several authors coming from the scene.
